At one of my baby showers, my mom gave me a onsie for Amira that said "Future Ballerina," I loved it and couldn't wait for Amira to be able to fit into it. The time came to go and get Amira's Easter pictures done so I had an idea to get her picture taken in the onsie. I also thought it would be neat to have my first pair of pointe shoes by her and me standing on pointe in the background. The pictures turned out so great other than my poor technique but I hadn't put my pointe shoes on for a couple of years.
