A few weeks ago we made a trip to Hogle Zoo. This was Amira's first time at the Zoo and Ryan and my first time to Hogle Zoo in quite a few years. Boy has the zoo changed over the years, in some good ways and bad ways. Amira really liked the monkeys, chimps, and gorillas. As soon as she could spot them she would point at them, it was so cute.
My favorite part of the zoo was this gorilla hiding under his blanket, when he was completely covered it looked like it could have been a real person underneath there. Overall the zoo was fun even though there wasn't any hippos, polar bears, tigers, or lions, but the monkeys and baby elephant were super cute.
