Santa also brought some pots and pans to play with, books, a Yo Gabba Gabba blanket, a baby doll, and a Dora cup to name a few items.
By 7:30am we were over to Ryan's parents house for a little bit of breakfast and to open gifts. Amira got a musical instrument set, some cute outfits, and a little purse since she loves to search through her Aunt Meme's purse.
At 9:30am we were over to Ryan's grandpa's house for more gift opening and more eating (nothing like shrimp with cheese balls and crackers at 9:30am). Amira got a cute little easel to draw on from her Grandpa Roy and a puzzle with some outfits from her Aunt Dibo.
By 11am (a half an hour behind schedule) we were at my dad's house. Luckily all of our stops were really close together! My dad made a ton of breakfast foods so of course we had to eat again! The tradition at my dad's house is that we all get these HUGE stockings full of presents. This year we had four little ones digging through stockings and pulling out a ton of presents. All you could hear was little voices saying, "Cool. Wow. Neat." Amira got a magnadoodle in her stocking and that seemed to be the favorite among all of the kids that morning.
At 1am we were over to my Aunt Bonnies for lunch. This year we skipped the traditional Christmas dinner/lunch and had a soup, salad, and potato bar. It was so good! After eating there we raced over to Ryan's Aunt Lori's just in time for dessert.
It was a busy day but it was nice to be able to see all of our family. Once we got home we unloaded all of Amira's presents and tried to figure out where to put all of them. Luckily the Grandma's were willing to take some toys to there house for Amira to play with there. We are so grateful to have such a great family that live close to us.
