There was some really pretty ducks that looked like they had just gotten new feathers, they were all bright and shiny.
We took some bread with us to feed the ducks and geese. Those dang geese are aggressive!
Amira didn't quite get the concept of giving up her slice of bread to the ducks. It doesn't help that Amira is a huge bread lover! She loves bread in any form; rolls, breadsticks, biscuits, or just a plain slice of bread. So when we gave Amira the bread to throw to the ducks she decided to eat it.
After getting rid of the majority of our bread we walked the rest of the way around the pond and saw this sign.
Uh oh......we may have been an accomplice to a murder of a duckling. But I'm pretty sure I saw everything we threw get gobbled up by those hungry ducks or the overly aggressive geese. So what are you supposed to bring to feed the ducks?
Ari of course slept through the entire experience. She did get a little fresh air and sun at least.
We also spent some time taking Capone on walks and playing at the park. Amira does really good going down the slides by herself.
Capone wanted to make sure he got a few turns down the slide too before resting in the sand.
Let's hope that there is no more snow in our future and we can just look forward to flowers blooming and seeing more butterfly's flying around.

What the heck! I've never seen that sign about not feeding the ducks! We go there all the time when it's nice out. What is the point of going if you can't throw bread to the ducks!
I just love that Capone! He is so FAT!
