Some memories that stand out to me from this house are:
- Scrapping off layers and layers of wallpaper before we moved in (the great company or family made it much less painful).
- Buying a real Christmas tree our the first year in our house and having it tip over 4 times before Christmas.
- Capone chewing up a whole roll of toilet paper and having it everywhere in our basement.
- Finding a box with the previous owners cremated dog in it while doing yard work (happened twice actually).
- Working on finishing our basement with my grandpa.
- Having Ryan come home and read the shirt Capone was wearing that said, "I'm going to be a big brother."
- One Halloween having a trick or treater ask us if the picture in our living room was Michael Jackson. (It was actually Frank Sinatra).
- Watching our tree in the backyard bloom every year with pink trumpet flowers.
- Amira climbing out of her crib the first time
- Watching Amira give Ryan a present that let him know we were expecting Ari.
- Giving both of the girls their first baths in the kitchen sink.
After we moved out of our house we had ten days before we could move into our new house. We were extremely lucky to be able to move into my aunt's house during that time. It ended up being perfect because we had the whole basement to ourselves and most of the time the whole house to ourselves since she was traveling. While we were there Amira kept asking, "Momma, you go home?" Multiple times a day she would ask to go home. It made me so sad but I knew once we got into the new house and she had all of her things around her she would love it which she did.
Stay tuned for pics of the new house, Eventually I will get something posted.....
